Here at Kettering, we value the ministry of returning a faithful tithe and offering to the Lord. In the Seventh-day Adventist Church, tithe money does not stay within the local congregation, but is redistributed across the global network of Churches for the furthering of the Gospel mission. Our church also collects local offerings and uses them to support our congregation’s ministries directly through our Church budget. After more than 40 years of regular use by our congregation and the community, the church facilities needed a major face lift. So we are in the midst of renewing all areas following a comprehensive plan:
Phase 1: Kitchen (Completed in 2011)
Phase 2: Hallways (Completed in 2012)
Phase 3: Bathrooms (Main floor men’s and women’s bathrooms finished in 2013, The Cafe Rooms (S3 and S4), Literature Storage and Bible Studies, Completed in 2013)
Phase 4: Sabbath School classrooms and West Wing, including Choir and family bathrooms (Completed in 2016)
Phase 5: Lower Level remodel and “light” office touch-up (In-Process, 2017)
Phase 6: Sanctuary, Replace Lighting for Stage & House, fix Large LED screens, Reupholster or replace Pews
