Jason Calvert is passionate about authentic youth ministry. Since 2004, Jason has loved investing, teaching, challenging, growing – living life alongside high school students toward a personal, intimate walk with Jesus. After graduating from Southern Adventist University in 2003 with a bachelor’s in theology, Jason began his Master’s degree at Andrews University Theological Seminary. While studying at the Seminary, Jason’s official full-time church ministry began. For two years he was the Pastor and Bible Teacher at Broadview Academy & Church in the IL Conference. Then in 2006, Jason and his wife Andrea moved to Loma Linda, CA. For ten years Jason served the students, faculty, and community of Loma Linda Academy as Bible Teacher (’06-‘11) and Campus Pastor (’11-16). In August 2016, Jason and Andrea accepted the call and moved to Kettering, OH. Jason currently is the youth pastor of the Kettering Church and PERICHORESIS ministries. A dynamic and enthusiastic speaker, Jason ministers to students all over north America. He loves the Seventh-day Adventist faith community – through his teaching, preaching, counseling, big event programming (Ekklesia, 1LIFE, etc.), vlog (daily dance) or just hanging with students, Jason longs to awaken this generation to the power and grace of Jesus in their lives and be change agents to make a difference in their slice of the planet for the KINGDOM. Jason married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Andrea in 2004. God’s abundantly blessed them with three beautiful children: Noah (born in 2011), Benjamin (born in 2013), Adaline (born in 2015).

She ministered as a chaplain in the Kettering Health Network for 23 years before joining the Kettering Church staff.
